The Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion begins at 12:00am on Monday 22 April 2024 and closes 11.59pm on Friday 31 May 2024. This promotion is coordinated by the Regional Transport Connections marketing and communications team at Waikato Regional Council.
Entry
The participant enters the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion in accordance with these Terms and any Promotion Specific Terms below:
To participate in the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion, the Participant must:
— be over the age of 18 years old at the time of entry;
— be a resident in Waikato, New Zealand;
— complete the distributed hard copy survey called ‘2024 Te Huia customer satisfaction survey’ whilst travelling on Te Huia train during the promotional period, and provide first name and contact phone number to be in to win.
The participant may only enter the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion once and additional entries submitted by the participant will be deemed invalid.
Entries for the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion must be received by Waikato Regional Council within the promotion period.
Any entry that:
— is received outside of the promotion period; and/or
— has not been submitted in accordance with these terms and Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion specific terms; and/or
— is otherwise incomplete, incorrect, or illegible will be deemed invalid, at the absolute discretion of Waikato Regional Council.
Entries are accepted at the time of receipt by Waikato Regional Council. Waikato Regional Council is not liable for any entries not received for any reason.
Waikato Regional Council assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
Conditions of entry:
- Late entries, and/or;
- Digital versions of ‘2024 Te Huia customer satisfaction survey’ submissions will not be considered.
Prize
Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion prize is defined as;
- JBL Tour One M2 Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones – Black (valued at $369)
Prize winner
The Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion winner shall be randomly selected by anonymously assigned survey number, determined in the manner set out in the following promotion specific terms;
The prize winner shall be contacted via the contact details provided at the time of entry.
Waikato Regional Council reserves the right to determine a new winner where, after three (3) attempts (within 10 business days of the winner being determined), Waikato Regional Council has been unable to contact the winner.
The prize must be taken as offered, cannot be redeemed for cash and is neither transferable nor exchangeable, except at the Waikato Regional Council’s sole discretion.
If the prize winner does not accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited, and reserves the right to determine a new winner.
Waikato Regional Council is not liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged, or tampered with in any way after it leaves our possession.
Waikato Regional Council’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The participant acknowledges that the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with any retail service provider. The associated brands included in the prizes have no official affiliation with Waikato Regional Council.
Use of personal information and consent to publicity
By entering the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion, the Participant agrees that the Promotor may use the Participant’s personal information:
— to carry out the Te Huia 2024 Survey Promotion, including determining and notifying the winner;
— to provide the prize to the winner, including, where required, disclosing that information to the supplier or sponsor of the prize and/or regulatory authorities; and
— for marketing, promotional, publicity, research, and profiling purposes.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to their first name being used for such publicity purposes as reasonably determined by Waikato Regional Council, including publication on the Waikato Regional Council websites and/or social media accounts.
