Starting 1 July 2023, the following passengers will be entitled to free or half price fares through the government's Community Connect scheme:

➔ Free for kids aged under 13 years.
➔ Free for SuperGolds - in Waikato Region
➔ Half price for 13-24 year olds (Under 25 years)
➔ Half price for Community Services Card holders

Persons aged over 5 must have a registered Bee Card to recieve the reduced fares - cash fares do not qualify. All you need to do is register your Bee Card with your name and date of birth.

SuperGold card holders will still receive free fares across the Waikato with a registered Bee Card.

Remember to tag on and tag off too!

Apply for your Bee Card account and register for Community Connect concessions.

If you have a SuperGold or Community services Card, apply online for your concession to be loaded onto your Bee Card - you can do this online.

If you're eligible for both, SuperGold is the best concession rate for travelling in the Waikato.
