Six stations on the Southern and Onehunga Lines will be closed during this upgrade. There will be no train access to:
- Remuera
- Greenlane
- Ellerslie
- Penrose
- Te Papapa
- Onehunga.
Auckland Transport will provide alternatives, such as rail replacement buses and express bus services, from these stations.
Southern Line trains will continue to run between Papakura and Britomart, following the Eastern line.
What does this mean for Te Huia passengers?
Te Huia will run to its normal schedule during stage one. Papakura, Puhinui and The Strand will all remain open and accessible to you.
If you are a Te Huia customer that transfers to a Southern Line train at Papakura or Puhinui to one of the six stations above, you will need to plan an alternative route.
The Newmarket and Parnell stations are open, but you will need to travel all the way to Britomart and transfer to the Western Line to take you back to these two stations.
