Concessions
-
SuperGold Cardholders can access free travel during off peak trips with their concession loaded onto a Bee Card. Full adult fares will be charged during peak times.
Free fares are available for Supergold concessions during off-peak trips and weekends. Peak times for Te Huia are from 6am-9am and 3pm-6.30pm weekdays.
Showing your SuperGold Card does not entitle you to free travel. Please note the Bee Card can only be used on Te Huia and BUSIT services, not Auckland Transport services.
To load your SuperGold concession on to your registered Bee Card:
- Visit beecard.co.nz and add your SuperGold concession online
- Ring 0800 205 305
- Visit the BUSIT counter at the Hamilton Transport Centre or any of our Bee Card retailers around the region
A different SuperGold concession is available in Auckland, but you will need to have an AT HOP card and apply for your SuperGold concession to be added to it. Find out more about card concessions and discount fares on the AT website.
-
Children aged 5-15 years are eligible to receive half price Te Huia fares with a registered Bee Card (with name and date of birth). Children under 5 do not need a Bee Card.
Please purchase and register a Bee Card for your child prior to travelling with us.
Find your nearest Bee Card retailer or order online.
Large Groups
While we're unable to reserve seats on public transport we do appreciate our passengers planning ahead. If you are travelling as a large group (10+), please get in contact via email at least one week prior to your intended departure date so we can provide advice and assess availability.
